In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 beauty retail apps on iOS in Norway showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user statistics for these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Rituals Home & Body Cosmetics saw a general decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 646 in late December and dropping to approximately 297 by the end of March. The weekly active users also exhibited a downward trend, starting at 2.2K and ending at 1.6K.

Think Dirty – Shop Clean experienced a notable spike in weekly downloads at the beginning of January, peaking at 530. However, this number gradually decreased to about 33 by the end of March. The active user base followed a similar pattern, peaking at 580 in mid-January and declining to around 134 by the end of the quarter. Revenue for this app was minimal, with only minor peaks of approximately $11 and $10 in early January and mid-February, respectively.

FOREO For You had the lowest download figures among the top apps, with a high of 83 downloads in late December and dropping to single digits by February and March. The active user count also decreased from 133 at the start of the quarter to 53 by the end.
